How we got here.
“After many years working in New Mexico real estate, I had an opportunity to start my very own business,” Samantha Monnet says. “Valdez & Associates specializes in Santa Fe real estate, and we strive to give our clients the best experience possible. With thirty years’ experience and growing up in Santa Fe, I have a unique knowledge to offer anyone looking to purchase or sell their property.”
The office has stayed small on purpose. Samantha, Becky, and Samantha Valdez handle every sale themselves, and the property management side means we know what houses here actually need. All three brokers were born and raised in New Mexico. Two of us grew up in Santa Fe. We have decades in this market.
Molly is where we all started.
Molly Harris-Whitted
Molly was born and raised in Santa Fe and held a broker’s license for ten years. She knew every back road and shortcut to every part of town, and all of its hidden gems.
Her history here was long and deep. She worked for the State of New Mexico for twenty years, owned The Lunch Basket restaurant, and served on the Santa Fe City Council. She founded the Keep Santa Fe Beautiful program and sat on several boards, including the Fore Kids charity, which continues to raise thousands of dollars for children in our community.
Santa Fe was her home all her life, and she passed that same love of place to her daughters, Samantha and Becky. She is missed every day.
